Packing list faq

1. When do we need to have everything packed and ready?

We recommend having everything labeled, packed at least 2–3 days before the wedding, if possible for your peace of mind.
Drop off time varies by venue. For Maas Weddings, items can be dropped off beginning at 11am.

2. How should we pack things?

Please use clearly labeled bins or boxes, organized by where the items will go (e.g., “Ceremony,” “Reception,” “Guestbook Table”). Painter’s tape or sticky notes work great for individual labels!

3. Will you pack things up at the end of the night?

Yes! We’ll pack up everything that belongs to you and your vendors at the end of the event, following the packing list you’ve filled out. Be sure to include a note about who should take each item home (e.g., parents, friend).

4. Do we need to bring tools like scissors, tape, or lighters?

We’ve got you covered on basics like scissors, tape, zip ties, and lighters. If you have anything specific (like a specialty stand or signage setup) that requires a tool, let us know!

5. What if we forget something?

We’ll do our best to troubleshoot with what we have on-site, but it helps to double-check your list the week before and ask a trusted friend to help you gather everything.

6. What types of items should we include?

Anything you want displayed, handed out, or set up! Common things include:

  • Welcome sign

  • Ceremony programs

  • Guestbook + pens

  • Bar signage

  • Table Numbers

  • Candles

  • Name cards

  • Favors

  • Marriage license (don’t forget this!)

  • Tip envelopes

  • Cake knife, toasting flutes, etc.

7. Can we make changes to the list after it's been started?

Absolutely! You can add or update items anytime—we suggest having the final version confirmed about a week before the wedding.
